Photography Events

Join us for a Fujifilm Photo Walk in downtown Arlington! Fujifilm Representative Aaron Rogers and Arlington Camera staff will be leading the walk. Aaron will have loaner equipment available for attendees, but please bring your own memory card. In addition to the usual street scenes and surprises, you'll have the opportunity to photograph the Pumpkin Art Build at City Hall as well as a live fire performance by Radiant Solz in Rotary Dream Park. The Fujifilm Photo Walk is a free event, but we do ask that you please register to attend. We hope you'll be able to join us and experience Fujifilm film simulations on the latest camera models!

We invite you to grab your camera and join us for a fun and social photo walk through the vibrant scenes of Downtown Arlington’s First Thursdays! We’ll meet at 5pm at City Center Plaza and embark on a 3-hour guided exploration to capture all the people, art, and energy that make the First Thursdays event so special! Our staff will assist you with photo tips and inspiration to help you capture the dynamic street scenes and more. You’re also invited to participate in an online photo contest the following week. The submissions are judged by the DT Arlington Staff and the winner will receive a gift card to spend at Arlington Camera! The event is FREE, but you must register to attend and space is limited!

You're invited to stop by the store to talk with Ray Downs about products from several of the photographic brands he represents. Ray will be demonstrating gear from MagMod, Peak Design, Spider, Viltrox and Capturing Couture. There will also be in-store special pricing on the day of the demo for all products in these lines. Please take advantage of this opportunity to try the gear, get detailed information, and save money, too!
